Re: Firebird bezels

Hello all. As you can tell, I'm not on the site much these days, pretty busy here at the shop. A customer has brought something to my attention. There may be issues with these fitting NOS marker lights. It seems as though the NOS plastic is slightly long than the reproduction. The bezels fit the reproduction with plenty of gap for primer and paint, however, on the NOS they won't fit at all. Please provide any feedback if you have had this problem. If so, I can modify these to fit NOS markers. For future orders, I recommend buying reproduction bezels. Sorry for this inconvenience!

Re: Firebird bezels

I just had this problem with the side markers I ordered from OER. I just used a dremil and shaved some of the lense off to fit inside the bezel. Came out decent.

Re: Firebird bezels

I received mine a few weeks ago, very happy with them.

After waffling on whether or not I wanted to do this, I reached out to Greg, he made them, shipped them, and they arrived quickly.

I ordered two sets since I like to have extras of things; I may want to do this on more than one of my trucks; and most importantly because he may stop making them. He seems pretty busy.

Once you account for shipping nowadays, you might as well get more than one.

Pictured is one of the sets, these are well made. I might end up using a pair of them on a 1967 box to add lights. Sacrilege for 67 owners, I know, but at least it will look cool.

I also bought 2 sets. I am sure everyone but me knew this, but they only fit 1 location. I thought they were made wrong when I tried test fitting the lenses and they did not fit. Until I tried all the marker lights and each one fit a specific marker light. After finding this out I am more impressed with this product as there is more work making them fit. Nice product!
