I'm Baaack again,.. sorta I think

Hey folks,
After about a 3 year hiatus. I may seriously be back. I'm flying to the Carolinas on Wednesday to seriously look at a '63 SWB. I've put "hold money" on it. It's got the 230 six. Somehow I missed it not having A/C. we live in SW Florida and my wife said absolutely NO if it doesn't have A/C. I convinced her to gimme the Florida "winter" to install one. PHEW,..she said OK. To that end, I don't think I want to go Vintage again as I lost the glovebox in the cheyenne when I installed it. I'm thinking perhaps the Hurricane or Old Air systems maybe won't destroy the usefulness of the glove box. Anybody have experience or thoughts on this subject?
Thanks

Jack

Yes I'm using the hurricane old air system in mine and I like it just fine. They had some mad monk group in the back rooms at one time who made a plastic glove boxes that fit better than the cardboard units on the market that I couldn't make fit, that's what I have. Smaller but it works. Not that I needed it with the hurricane system, I just couldn't get the cardboard glove box to work.

Another Old Air Hurricane owner/user here, been running it in my 66 Suburban for years now, it has performed flawlessly.
