Bed swap ???

I have an 84 crew cab dually. I removed the stake bed in favor of a stock bed. By the narrower width of the rear, it appears I have a factory cab & chassis truck. I bought a lwb fleetside bed to mount on it. Does the bed get mounted flat to the chassis or are there bushings/mounts for in between the two, like a cab?

TIA,
John

the bed mounts right to the frame, but if you have a cab and chasis you may have to make your inner fenders a bit wider.

Thanks...

Threw the bed on a little while go. Body lines line up and pretty close fit to the inner wheel wells. Truck is really a 1 1/4 ton so I'll probably just add a couple of lift blocks. I rather not alter the wheel wells, to maintain the 48" distance.

Thanks again,
John
