new to message board - frame swap
Hey guys.(and gurls) Has anyone done a frame swap by putting a 60 -66 cab and box on a S-10/15 rolling chassis? Can this be done?

I wouldn't think it would work.
The wheelbase, and width should be different.

A long bed S10 uses the same wheelbase as a short bed 1/2 ton shortbed truck.
My 50 model truck is on an S-10 longbed frame.

Thanx for your replies. I'd thot the S-10 (ext cab) might be the required 115 inches between axles, but the width of the axles appears to be narrower. The guy tellin me this is obviously blowing smoke
