deluxe heater controls
Trying to get everything out of the cab for paint . Whats the trick to get the controls out of the dash?

Outside of having a skinny kid get up under the dash that is.

Removed the side screws then just kept wiggling it until it was just hanging on by about 1/16 inch on top then pried it out with a thin screwdriver. I'm sure thats not the way it was intended but it worked with no damage. After getting it out heres how you do it . 1 remover side screws (4) to losen faceplate. 2 the control knobs are held in by set screws. Remove them 3 remove faceplate and the take the controls out the back. Forgot to add theres 2 screws on top holding the faceplate snug to the dash. Back them off. They are about 1/2 inch above the off - fan- hi control
