Intake Plug & GLUE?
Does this plug Glue to the top of this intake hole?
Mine came off when I tore my LS engine down? Suggestions on what to use for glues? RTV?

Re: Intake Plug & GLUE?
it was most likely plastic welded from factory and is now broken.
1) maybe clean the bejesus out of it, skuff it up with course sand paper and use a high quality plastic adhesive glue.... what goes there... brake booster is on the back of the intake correct? 2) replace intake

Re: Intake Plug & GLUE?
I have a spare intake I'd let go for cheap if you want to replace it. Just let me know.

Re: Intake Plug & GLUE?
Find a plug and use a soldering iron to melt it back in place. I have done this many times with no issues. Depending on the size, you could even thread it for a pipe plug and screw in a plug. This is an easy fix.

Thanks guys!
I was thinking JB weld, but I like the soldering iron way, better. Will give that a try!

Re: Intake Plug & GLUE?
Thanks, going to try and plastic weld it with the old soldering iron first.
