Modified 68.
Wow, that is some type of modification. But why make your pickup look like a 80's truck?

Or no taste at all.
The stock 68 grill is perfection!

ugggg
that looks like a van grille, I think the R/V series trucks and K5's had squared upper corners. EDIT: seller states the grille is an '89 Burb. it also has a corporate 10 bolt front axle, definitely not stock. also an automatic, definitely not stock. what an abortion of a truck!

You think thats bad, you must not have seen the one out in Tolleson. They grafted the front clip from a late nineties chevy truck onto the cab of a 67-72. Fugly!

Agree with French, good workmanship even though I wouldn't do it. But when everything else is updated these days. Discs, fuel injection, 60-40 seats, etc. Why not try a late grille on a 67-72? A for effort and B+for looks!!!

WTF!! all you guys do is hate on someones well spent time. For all we know that truck could be invited to some major show that a "stock" 67-72 wouldn't be. Personally I do like the looks of it, its wierd but somehow captivating. I have a '94 bed on my truck and the M-3 signal mirrors and all I ever hear is how good it looks and all he did was take it 1 step further. A+ on workmanship and A+ on looks

Christopher, that thing looks horrible. Why some one would do such a thing is beyond me, if you want a late model truck...buy one and leave the old ones alone.
Randy, that photo shop of your truck broke my heart, especially after seeing yours in person |

To each his own, I guess.
Someone put a lot of thought and effort into that. Certainly not my taste, but I can't knock it when someone obviously loves their truck as much as they did that one... It's a very good job, matching some tough parts together! |
