Platinum spark plug for stock 350
What would be a good platinum spark plug for a stock 350?
Thanks!

Re: Platinum spark plug for stock 350
I've always been a fan of ac Delco. I also only do copper or iridium. Never had good experiences with platinum. Iridium's last forever but cost more up front. Copper are tried and true just have to change every 10-15k.

Re: Platinum spark plug for stock 350
I put iridium plugs in all of my classics. Never had any issues.

Re: Platinum spark plug for stock 350
What would be a good AC Delco part number for a stock 350? Would the gap be the same at .45 for an hei?
Thanks!

Re: Platinum spark plug for stock 350
OP
Just look up at any part store site for whatever 350 motor (year) you have for spark plug. If the motor is not original to truck look up whatever donor, make/model it came from. It makes a difference for what heads (AL, iron, reach of plug length, heat range, etc) As far as brands....NGK, AC Delco, Autolite would all be fine. Iridium vs Platinum regardless of brand |

Re: Platinum spark plug for stock 350
I run AC Delco Rapidfire #10 platinum plugs in my 350, they come preset at .035" gap. No issues, misfires or anything.
