Well, it originally was a standard, but has since been changed to a TH-350.

I have a couple cast iron 4 barrel intakes but don't know if any are 67, is there some way of identifying?

Re: WTB: 67 327 original intake manifold & Carb
The date code is one each one. Next to the part number.
I believe you have a choice. The 300hp that a Holley bolts right up to. Or the Quadrajet. Two large holes and two smaller ones. Do you want it specifically for a 1967 C10? The GM Heritage center (gm.com/heritage/archive) only lists the 283 in the C10. The 327 was available in other models like the Suburban. It was a 220hp. I have a 300HP intake but will have to look at the date. Last edited by Accelo; 11-29-2022 at 09:02 PM. |

Re: WTB: 67 327 original intake manifold & Carb
The 327 was available in the c10. I have one. The reason I asked if it was a th400 is that a stock 4 jet carb used on these trucks had a different arm on the throttle with a tab that depressed the kick down switch mounted next to the carb. A th350 wasn't available in 67 but a bracket could be easily fabbed. I used a 65 300hp intake on my 327 because it has better runners and the 4 jet will mount to it. Here's pics of a stock style carb for 67 ( except i added a automatic choke, 67 wasnt availablewith this on 327) Also the 65 intake. The stock style intake looks similar to this but not exact. None of this is for sale.

The GM Heritage website is a good site. First time I've checked it out.

Re: WTB: 67 327 original intake manifold & Carb
I wouldn't say al intakes because some have different spots for the heat ports that are supposed to use exhaust to heat up the carb and intake faster and if they dont match up you could create a vacuum or fuel leak. I plugged mine off. This is the stock intake. You can see the holes are in simular location. You may need a phenolic gasket between the intake and carb with the 300hp intake as mine did. Stock just use a gasket.

I have this one. #3886922 E45 Square Bore. Has coil bracket, vacuum fitting, water outlet, distributor clamp and bolt, breather tube, and front water outlet. 60 bucks plus shipping. Needs blasted & painted..... I will have to check on a carb for it. Whichever one you use you will have to be sure and get the carb that matches it. LockDoc
