... Colorado lets you register YOM plates to the plates you have , you have to keep them in the truck with you. Here are the ones I'll be using next year.

(reporting from California) Regarding "classic car insurance", I've known of two guys that had incidents with their pre-'81 vehicles (a collision and an underhood fire) and both were reimbursed pretty handily. Both were able to keep/buy back their vehicle, then spend the $$$ on "repairs". Agreed value policies on both, annual coverage was $250-$350, insurance agents seriously knew their **** as far as vehicle values/upgraded parts/etc. My $0.02, seemed pretty reasonable
