BURB pics posted...

thanks to Yukon Jack! We appreciate all those who have provided advice, assistance, and parts in our two year effort to return the Burb to its former glory!!! It's currently licensed, registered, VA inspected and am pleased to have logged 200+ miles over the last week....with no major restoration glitches to fix or repair. The 3.5" dropped front spindles coupled with the dropped 4" rear coil springs and the new front swaybar (all ECE products all) really add to the handling. The totally rebuilt 307 engine, 3 speed trans, and rear end provides enough "GO" until the "new" engine goes in next year. I painted it with Acrylic Enamel in our garage (just have left rear quarter and barn doors to paint), interior includes all new carpet, Dodge Neon "Expresso" front bucket seats (they go forward, backward AND up and down) and reupholstered the 3/4 rear seat with material from the rear seat setup of the Dodge. This project could not have been completed without the help of Mrs. Burb and we are very pleased with the outcome. Have many pics of the BURB but cannot figure out how to post them...I can email some pics if someone could post them... A SINCERE THANKS TO ALL !!! This is THE BOARD for 67-72 Chevy "nuts"!

Very nice! You done good! One question though, why is the console so big and tall?

Tall console was

.....a great debate!! Built tall enough to comfortably rest elbows on as the bucket seats do not have any "drop-down" side arm rests. Looks strange but as comfortable as can be....I built the console with the option to "drop it down" smaller if needed, but we've found it works well....AND...talk about room to put "stuff" into!!

Looks awesome!!! hopefully when I get a burb I can make it look that nice!. With that blck and white theme you should put raised white lettered tires on it. It would only add to the beauty in my opinion. Great looking burb!
