GMC and Chevy bench seats the same?
I know there are differences in bench seats depending on what year but are there differences in benches from a GMC vs a Chevy pickup?
I’m sure the mounting points are the same but we’re their differences in upholstery? Did 68 seats fold or was that only in 67? Posted via Mobile Device |

Something I did not know until recently is some have shown evidence of highlander (plaid) interiors with the prominent pattern being vertical in Chevy and horizontal in GMC's.

Re: GMC and Chevy bench seats the same?
Upholstery was definitely different between the two in 67, maybe 68. Not sure about the other years.
67 GMC… 67 Chevy…

Re: GMC and Chevy bench seats the same?
That's right. '69-on GMC and Chevy were the same upholstery. The seats are the same throughout 67-72, year by year.

I wonder how many different style upholstery were offered. Did interior codes determine only a specific seat or were their options.
Assembly plant might have also changed what was offered. Posted via Mobile Device |
