Talking help installing new shocks

just ordered 6 new kyb shocks for my pickup, should be here this week so i should be putting them in next saturday. ive never done this before - so any advice would be great. is there bushings i need to buy? anything i should replace while im at it? thanks.

John, installing shocks on our trucks is a cake walk. Your new shocks should come with everything you need.

IMO, when you replace old shocks with new ones, it makes a world of difference in the ride quality and will put a big old smile on your face. Good luck with the install.

May want to crawl under the truck every night this week and spray some penetrating oil on the mounting hadrware. Will make your job easier this weekend.

9 times out of ten the mounting bolts have seized to the bushing pins making them impossible to remove even with air tools. So be prepared to cut the old bolts. I don't even bother trying to loosen them anymore, it's just faster that way.
