Won't be able to paint the frame until spring so decided to disassemble the dana 44 front axle & rebuild.

Some teardown pics









The knuckle was a bugger to get off, pickle forks from Harbor Freight were a great investment for this (have been extremely useful for tie rods too).





Axle shaft looked pretty rough to me (I'm not sure how much wear is normal) so I decided to just buy replacement inner axles.
