Tilt Column, a couple more questions
Ok, so today I finally got around to taking the hub off my Tilt Column.
(In my defense, I had to fabricate the bolts to work with my pulle) When I got the hub off I found three large Phillips Head screws. Are these what hold the turn signal mechanism in place? AND When I remove this Mechanism, will I be able to access the three bolts that have loosened in my tilt mechanism? Another question I halve is about the Steering Wheel mount hub. How far down onto the Steering Shaft should the hub go on? How much of a gap should there be between the cancelling cam, and the Turn signal mechanism? I hope someone can give me some insight on these questions. Thanks |

Re: Tilt Column, a couple more questions
The 3 phillips head screws just hold the turn signal/wiring harness in place, you will have to go deeper to get to the 4 bolts that hold it tight! Watch this video and it will give you an idea where the 4 bolts are that come loose over time.
