Z71 regular cab short bed collectable?

The price on this 99 Z71 reg cab shorty is rather strong. Do you think these will become collectable or maybe they all ready have.

They're good reliable workhorses but I don't think they're collectible.
Maybe eventually but not now.

Agree - not collectible. But they are indeed great trucks - and regular cabs seem to be harder to come by than ext cabs (but I don’t think that makes them rare, just hard to find because everyone was buying the ‘new thing’ back then - extended cabs, incl me ). I’ve been lookin for a low mile K1500 reg cab long bed for a while but when they do pop up, that have a LOT of miles on em - or they are a W/T. My ext cab 01 has 303k on it and it’s still going strong. I definitely prefer the regular cab trucks though.

the z71 above sold for $20,500. I think new it was around 24k in 99
