1947-195? Short-Bed Custom Frame / Corvette IFS/IRS

Custom Frame:
Chevrolet/GMC custom ½-ton truck frame constructed of welded 2” x 4” x 0.125” rectangular steel tube frame and designed for Chevrolet C4 Corvette independent front (IFS) and rear (IRS) suspension. Constructed for 1940 to 1946 truck; however, the frame could be easily modified for fit to additionally fit 1947 to 1957 ½-ton short-bed General Motors (other manufacturers as well) with same wheelbase. All new steel used in construction to include Auto Weld Chassis OEM replacement frame rails. CAD-designed IFS and IRS assemblies are HD and comparable to proprietary, aftermarket kits (e.g., sold by Flat Out Engineering and Progressive) costing in the thousands of dollars for each end. Frame is presently mounted on a rolling and rotatable frame which is included in the sale. Please note, the pictured C4 IRS batwing, rack & pinion steering rack--as well as the dog--are not included with the frame. Buyer will require a car hauler or long, flatbed trailer for transport. C4 IFS & IRS:
Chevrolet C4 Corvette IFS and IRS components removed from a salvage-titled 1987 Coupe with 14,000 miles on the odometer. Have title number and original GM build sheet. Close-ratio rack & pinion power steering rack and 3.09:1 Dana 36 posi-traction rear differential. Majority of all aluminum suspension castings/parts have been bead-blasted and coated with 2K epoxy primer and some additionally with 2K epoxy aluminum paint. Includes all new Moog-brand ball joints, universal joints and axle components all around (see picture of parts on moving blanket). Does not include any brake components other than rear emergency brake assemblies (with new hardware and shoes included). My intention was to upgrade braking using after-market assemblies. Includes Banski Motorsports-type adjustable rods, rod ends and spacers for IRS to replace outdated cast OEM trailing arms, toe rods, and camber rods to facilitate performance road racing. NOS GM OEM as well as used assembly hardware included where available. Asking $2,850.00 or best reasonable offer for C4 IFS & IRS only.
