Low hump or high hump sheet metal repair
The previous owner cut up the trans hump in my 65 and Im wondering what my repair options are. I dont know if it's a high hump or a low hump? Is this part removable where I can purchase new sheet metal or do I need to weld in some new ones?

looks to be low hump, might be better/faster to get a high hump

Definitely a low hump in your truck currently. If you're planning on sticking with that shifter, replacing the hump with a high hump could be the better option for you.
With the way it was cut, you might have to do some welding to repair it

SO would I be best off cutting out the old one and welding in the high hump? Maybe nut serts would be better for future access? Where is the best place to buy the high hump?

The replacement shown is fiberglass. I bought one had to do very minimal trimming to get it to fit the way I wanted it. POR-15 coated it just because and nutserted it in place.
