C-50 Cab
Will a C-50 cab inerchange with a C-10 cab? I know the doors, hood, and fenders are different, but was wondering if the cabs would swap? I scored a "free" 1970 C-50 cab and chassis today and there is no rocker panel rust or anything. Thanks, Todd

No they won't. The firewall is different and the lower front of the door jambs is different. Notice on the big truck, that the doors are cut off on the lower front corners, where the normal pickup, they are squared.

Tex is right. The fire wall isn't as far out on them...you could probably bolt it to your frame, but you wouldn't get a front end on there.

I wouldn't hesitate to take and clip top section that cab. A cut through the windshield pillar posts and across the rockers andthe floor or at least tak it to the cab back panel from the floor. Should make a nice small window conversion for a nice cowl section.

If all else fails you can always drop the whole front clip and cab from the C50 onto yours! j/k
