Re: Transmission Day
And THAT is why I either say transmission or just trans for short, not tranny. Actually, come to think about it, I'm beginning to reconsider using trans. Why did they steal my terms from me? Why couldn't they just use hermaphrodite? "That one at the end of the bar is a Hermy." Sorry Herman. No? How about "Phrody"? Oh never mind, They'll start saying trans and tranny are politically incorrect soon enough. It's up to us to hurry that along. Use effort to sound derogatory y'all. Hurry up now. I want my words back!

Re: Transmission Day
If an automatic is rebuilt without replacing the old torque convertor it's like peeing into the wind. That is how I was taught by an amazing transmission genius. Often it is a bad convertor that causes a transmission to fail. Not in your case, with the transmission just sitting as well as on obvious issue caused by the prior rebuilder
I felt as bad about having to this beauty go as I'd feel letting the woman of my dreams go. TH400/NP205

Re: Transmission Day
Yep, input and output seal dry out and start leaking from sitting. Never used or a truck parked a prolonged period
