The revival and documentation of my 1968 c30

This is my 1968 Chevy c30 that I purchased this last September.
My plans for it are to keep it all original, fix what is broken and drive it.

Here it is at its former resting place before coming home.

I need to figure out a better way to format my posts and post pics.

Here are some more of getting it home.

Yeah buddy! I like your plan and will be looking forward to updates. I'm curious, does your truck use the 20" widowmaker rims? My C-50 does.

Re: The revival and documentation of my 1968 c30

First thing I did when I got it home was start the cleaning process by removing the soiled and degraded(but ultra cool) seat cover and vacuuming up the majority of the mouse and rat droppings from the interior and under the hood.
Then I removed the rotten ply wood from the flat bed and pressure washed the original wood underneath, came out pretty nice.

It currently has 18” with lock rings and tubes on the front and the rear has 19.5” two piece wheels.

Re: The revival and documentation of my 1968 c30

Today I shoveled enough of the snow that I was able to drive it out if the upper yard and down to the flat driveway.

There’s plenty of in between but I figured might as well just update to where we are now.

Parts list of needs
Master cylinder
Wheel cylinders
In cab gas tank
Wiring to brake lights re done

Wants
Seat cover
Tune up parts
Brake/clutch pedal rubber pads
