I doubt you will hear any laughter today.

That's one fine looking truck.

Re: thought id check in ,,,, 1967 C10 Shortbed Fleetside Small back glass

I was on this board 20yrs ago. 4k for a clean truck then was a good deal. Not sure who 'they' were but I'm guessing it wasn't the masses. I would think most here understand the value of these trucks (and most any classic vehicles).

Now.... Last night my buddy showed me a FB Marketplace ad for a Fleet Tan, 81-87 C10/single cab/LWB/305 plain steel wheel truck that was stuck in some overgrown brush area & had been there for an extended period. It had been off the road for 20yrs according to the ad. Asking price was $5500 firm. I could see it if the body was dent free & there was zero rust (no-rust is def possible for my area). I told my buddy "If it's straight & has clean-up potential, I could see some value". Not sure 5500k worth but it would take an in-person inspect to make the call.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Good to see you posting again. Have you been driving the truck while you were gone from here or has it been sitting a lot?

Keep us posted on what you are doing to it.

SWB vs. LWB.

I can see your SWB version easily getting a 5-6k bounty.

I would look into No Limits bolt-on notch. Their rear shock relocation kit is also an improvement vs other options.

'Square' trailing arms? What front bushings?

Good to see you come around again. Back when you bought this one the internet had not yet homogenized pricing. And areas with more native trucks tended to run cheaper. But I always looked at what one was worth to me and paid what I was happy with, no matter what anyone else said. People used to say I was crazy running to get trucks from thousands of miles away. It seems that's the norm these days. Naysayers will always be there with their comments. I'd give you $5 on the spot today!

That's it in a nutshell right there. Value has a lot to do w/situational perspective.

Nice truck for sure, does the name on the door have a meaning? Reason I ask is because Lynn Camp is the name of the high school I graduated from in Corbin Kentucky. Orange and black was the school colors as well. Welcome back.
