Which Starter Do I Use???????
I have a 153 tooth flex plate. I know that there is two different starter, one that works for my application and one for the larger flex plate. Which one do I need and how can I tell them apart?

Thanks John

I have found on all my 327 they were the 153 T and the 350 has all had 168T so on my 69 stepside I put in a 327 with a 168t and a 350 starter (staggered) works great, the straight across pattern won't work (Yes I tried) difference is the nose cone on starter.

I was wondering that same sort of question John. I always thought that the BIG clutch (11 & 12") models would use the 168t flywheel/flexplate. I do know that I've seen a lot of bigblocks with the 168t flywheels/flexplates. I propose that EVERYONE on this site go under their trucks right now & check! JK!
