60-62 Rolling Short Frame
As pit free a frame as you will find. The front cab mounts (for 63-66 cab) have been welded on, and some repair has been done on the lower bumper mount (still fits 60-62 bumper). Cut for fuel filler hose. Welded at pass side above axle. Has a maybe later truck 12 bolt (cast 3817769). Rolling on 2008ish wheels, center holes cut to fit.
Start with a solid frame, Porterbuilt makes a ton of suspension stuff for these. $400 for the rolling frame |

Re: 60-62 Rolling Short Frame
The rear axle could be a 63-64 axle based on the trac bar mount. Does it have bolt on backing plates for the brakes?

Re: 60-62 Rolling Short Frame
Looks like the backing plates are welded or pressed from the back side.
Also the trailing arms look a little wide for the axle |

Re: 60-62 Rolling Short Frame
Yup, that's most likely a 63-63 truck 12 bolt. The 60-62 frames had a wider spacing for the trailing arms, so when an axle is used from a 63-72 truck, most people just weld new perches to the axle right next to the original perches
