Rain gutter/visor seam trim
Is there a piece that covers the seam between the front rain gutter/visor and the curved transition near the A pillars on both sides? There seems to be a pretty good gap in the edge of the gutter between the two. I wasn't the one that cut the old rotted stuff out and Ive looked and searched and don't see anything mentioned in the LMC catalog either.

Re: Rain gutter/visor seam trim
I think there was just some sort of seam sealer used back then that rotted away after many years. If not, it was just made with the gap because these trucks were still basically tractors with windows

Re: Rain gutter/visor seam trim
My buddy who's helping me with the work swears there was a strip of metal like a clip that was folded over the edge that connected the front piece with the side piece. It seems there's another one just like it where the side meets the rear. For now I just seam sealed it until I can find it. Or I'll just leave it as is.

Re: Rain gutter/visor seam trim
Here is the clip, I also had to build one myself.
Roughly like the sketch. The clip also goes under the gutter and is spot-welded there.

Re: Rain gutter/visor seam trim
Yup. That's it. I guess I'll just make one then.

Re: Rain gutter/visor seam trim
Ah, my bad, I didn't fully understand what you were asking about. I haven't seen that little piece remanufactured by any of the typical suppliers. Heck, not even the correct 60-63 inner panel is being reproduced.
