Re: lower bbc rad hose with camaro clip?

There is no possible way somone can come up with the exact hose that fits your truck perfectly because there are too many variables.

Those include:
How high or low the subframe was set on the frame.
how high or low the engine was set on the subframe.
What style radiator you used and does it's outlet match normal big block hoses.
The distance the radiator is from the waterpump outlet.

The best I can suggest is that if you have some old lower and maybe upper hoses laying around do the cut and ducttape thing to make up a hose that has the shape you need and then carry that hose to the parts house and do some hunting.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

or use a flex hose. summit has a nice selection tool you enter length and end diameters

The easiest way I found was mocking the bends I needed with a wire clothes hangar, then my grandson and I went to NAPA and looked for the same bends in one of the hundreds they had hanging up. Found one, trimmed off to what we needed - perfect fit. 2nd Gen Camaro with SBC stroker.
Cheers, Jim

It takes some looking but if you have the inlet and outlet sizes and the approximate length, I usually go to the Gates catalog which has all hoses illustrated.

It's a black and white image so once I find one close in the Gates catalog I'll take the part number then do a Google search of that part number. The search will get you actual images of that hose which will get you a better idea if it will fit for you.

Re: lower bbc rad hose with camaro clip?

You can also clock a bend by cutting the hose and insert a short piece of muffler pipe and 2 hose clamps

I did this for mine and found that a GMT400 88-94 c1500 lower hose for v8 trucks was perfect for my application (4.3 with stock s10 rad, but it may work for you too)
