Questions on DG4 below eyeline mirrors
I have questions about DG4 below eyeline mirrors please.
1. Do the mirrors work such that you can swing and use the mirrors in an inward position, and swing them out when you want them extra wide such as to see around a camper or trailer? Or are they always used in the outermost position? 2. Are they practical to swing in every day for garage parking? 3. Is there a reproduction version of the 1972 DG4 mirrors, or if I want DG4 I really need to look for used? |

Re: Questions on DG4 below eyeline mirrors
DG4 mirrors aren't made to swing out wider (they are already in a "swing-out" position). If you want mirrors that you can swing out wider, I can't recall the code, but they look like this one:

Re: Questions on DG4 below eyeline mirrors
No repo for the 72 mirrors . They do turn up every so often on the parts for sale forum ,you could swing them in to get more clearance for parking but you would have to loosen the acorn nuts .

Re: Questions on DG4 below eyeline mirrors
Correct, those mirrors extend out further with some wrench work.
