Cooling System Flush
What would be the best way to flush out a cooling system without the radiator installed? (radiator is being replaced) Would taking the thermostat out from the intake manifold putting a garden hose in there and let the water flow from where the water pump is supposed to be installed do it?
Thanks |

A 5/8 or 3/4" garden hose fits over the heater hose connectors. Or you can buy a hose barb and put it on a heater hose.
I start by removing the thermostat and run water until it comes clean from every outlet. Also, don't forget to back flush the heater core.
