Re: 1969 C10 parking brake
Checked gear oil level with an allen wrench and it was close to the fill plug hole . Had the pass side jacked up higher than the drivers side so I could get to the front to rear hard brake line I messed up . I'll recheck now that it's level . How much should it hold ? THANKS !!

Re: 1969 C10 parking brake
I don't know how many quarts but I think it's more than 1.5, so I was a little surprised when I saw your post, but it could be I just don't remember. With truck level fill it up to where it is dribbling out of the fill hole. I use the 1 qt tall bottles with the spout and plastic stopper and it is pretty much mess-free.

Re: 1969 C10 parking brake
Bought another quart at NAPA today . Asked about the squeeze bags . They'd never heard of them . I'm hoping mine is full enough that I can top it off with a small oil can pump . Might not have been full but I drained a little over a quart out . I'll make sure it's full before the test drive .THANKS !!
