A want to know what your wheel offsets are. Can you steer with the wheels tucked? I think my wheels are tooooo close to the fender. I think it's time for a new set of rims.

I don't know what offset or BS my wheels have (20x8 Eagle 212's) but I can drive w/ the front wheels tucked 2" w/o problems. I haven't attempted to drive lower. Your tires aren't helping either. Sorry, I can't be of more help.

I have 20x8.5's and a +14 offset. I can turn with it decently low, but not hammered. I am not sure that you are going to turn too well with a tucked 20.

hey i have an 85 with a 350 im about to bag the trcuk but the headers hang too low will another vehicles heqaders fit that dont hang as low??

Hedman make shorty headers for our trucks. I just put a set on mine.

Can you turn with it all the way down? I was looking at 304's too!! Dang it. I might have to get somethin else.

Mine isn't as low as most bagged trucks because I refuse to notch the bed and cut the fenderwells out. With that said it still sits pretty low and I can drive with it all the way down. I don't mean drive down the highway, but cruise the parking lot and it won't rub....

Can you turn out of the parking lot slammed low like that?

I just need to be able to turn a corner and not push my fender out from steering. I dont want to have to "untuck" the wheels everytime I want to turn a 90* corner.

I have never tried any "sharp" turns with it aired out. I think no matter what backspace you have turning to full lock while aired out is going to cause trouble. Like BaggedC10 said you might want to consider your tire hieght as an issue too. Aren't you running a pretty tall front tire???

I have 275/45's on it now. If I get a 20x7 0 offset wheel, I think I might be able to do something. That or a 20x7 with a 6" backspace.....?

No. If I am in a parking lot, I usually just ride with the front up unless I am making slow long turns.
