Door Hinge Bolts ?
I believe these are door hinge bolts for my panel. Do the long ones bolt hinge to body and shorter ones hinge to door or am I backwards? Or wrong altogether?

Re: Door Hinge Bolts ?
Door hinges arent panel or burb specific, they would be the same on all of the trucks, burbs, and panels. So now someone might know the answer?

If I can remember later this morning or early this afternoon I will pull a few bolts from the doors on my panel and check them. I don't know off the top of my head. How many of each size do you have? My cousin is going to come over this morning so I can help him set up an eBay account and list some items, so it will be after that. LockDoc

Re: Door Hinge Bolts ?
I know I will get corrected if I am wrong but the longer ones are door striker bolts. The shorter ones?????
Door hinge bolts have a thick washer attached. |

Re: Door Hinge Bolts ?
I took a look and these wont screw in to the striker holes on the jamb but they do screw in to the hinge holes. These are fine and striker are coarse

Re: Door Hinge Bolts ?
Once again, I stand corrected. I just pulled these a couple days ago for cleaning. Look similar but not what I thought. Sorry

Re: Door Hinge Bolts ?
No apologies needed, I appreciate all input. Plus now i know what to look for when I dig out strikers!
Interesting your hinge one is flat vs star .. Mine could still be wrong

Re: Door Hinge Bolts ?
So I did some scrounging and found one of my small parts bin that had bolts labeled door hinge. They are similar to your red one in that they have the washer, but different in that the tip is more pointed than yours.
Maybe the ones I posted are a barn door thing, not the regular doors?

They are for the panel rear doors. The long ones go in the doors and the short ones go in the jamb. Be careful when you put the short ones in the holes in the jamb, they will fall down inside. I will explain how to prevent this after I take a couple of pictures..... BRB The front doors are the longer fine thread bolts with the thick washers like CKfan's. LockDoc

Here is how I prevent the bolts from falling out of the sockets. If you don't have any magnetic inserts for the sockets, (sold at HF) just tear off a small piece of shop rag and lay over the end of the socket, then press the head of the bolt into the socket. The bolt will stay in the socket and you will be able to insert the socket and bolt into the hole and start it by hand. You may have to tear off a little of the excess towel. Just hold the bolt in with your thumb when you do it. LockDoc
