They never actually came on our trucks, even though they are shown in some of the manuals. You have to buy new/after market. These things are a "Bear" to install. They usually get bent up trying to beat them on and you may have to remove your drip rail sealant and then re-apply afterward. Are you sure you want to take this on?

Why not i have rebuilt my truck and dug out all the old sealent and reapplied it not as thick as origanal before painting so I dont think i'll have to many problems.mind you always expect the worst!Do you know the cost of a set?I think it will add a nice touch with my windsheild trim it will all match and add a little somthing over the doors our trucks are missing.

It looks great on these trucks and SOME 69's actually did come with it from the factory but caused problems, they are just held on by an interference fit and can pop off easily,I saw one truck that had a factory set and the P/Ohad used phillips screws to keep them on. The original ones were consideraly thinner than the repos. They are a pain to put on, but they do look good, but if the drip rails ar not perfect they will not go on and stay and will scratch everything they touch, I had to have my drip rails repainted after my adventure with the moldings. Talked to a respected restoration guy at a show, and he stated that he ground the tabs off and actually used epoxy to hold them in place.
