This is a concours level very early take off wheel evidenced by the grain and the wheel was never damaged. Looks like a day one take off to me, it looks like new - there’s not a single crack or nick. The very few blemishes on the smooth areas lye on the very surface only, polish to your heart’s content. There is one very small blemish in the grain near the top, as shown. I’d put a cover on this so the grain outlasts us.

I installed an original dust boot on it with silicone glue, having the idea it can be removed cleanly, and much easier than an alternative. $1100, plus shipping, insurance and any Paypal.

Sold and sent. I wanted to say the integrity of board members is top notch, seen so many times. I told Njeiv I'd go halves on the shipping, couldn't imagine it would cost more that 60 or 70, so I figured $20 his part was good enough and he paid promptly. Wholly cow has stuff got expensive, $120 for a 20x10 box. In hindsight 20x8 would get her done, what difference in cost I can't say, but I figured the more tight cushion the better. I wasn't going to ask for more but he offered it, so halves we did.
