Looking For Correct Jacking Instruction Decal

Every repro decal I have seen is not correct. The latest post I could find about trying to find a correct one was in 2013. Nobody could come up with one back then.

This is the original decal from the truck I am working on. Does anybody know where one can be found?

Thanks, but that one doesn't match the original either. It's like all the others I have found.

I don't know if this is the one you're looking for?

Here is a Link to Lockdoc's decal.

This should be the one he needs.

If it isn't you will have to let us know what all is different on it. I see a couple of things.

Much better than mine. So, I wonder, what's the deal with the reproduction ones? Is it a possibility that there is another version that originally came on these trucks?

Not sure. Here is another one.

The part numbers on both of these are 3937384 and the date is 10-2-67.

Re: Looking For Correct Jacking Instruction Decal

Mine is the same as Damnyankee36.

Loc Doc, are you going to make these soon? I was just searching for a replacement and saw your other repros and then found this thread.

Mine was/is in sad shape. On my 69 K10 (built last week Aug 68)

Re: Looking For Correct Jacking Instruction Decal

To throw a wrench into the fire, this was in my 71 SWB C10. It's a 1967 decal. I've owned the truck since 1989, perhaps the old man original owner thought to swap the sticker and jack out one day. Yeah, I kind of doubt it.

Thing about my truck is it was special ordered 2x2 SWB with leaf springs. Basically a SWB GMC chassis. Can we agree the middle image looks like a GMC? Third shows leaf springs. Maybe I'm missing something, can't say for 100% sure it's original, but it probably is. Sometimes the rule on these trucks don't apply. I can't find this sticker anywhere.

I don't have time right now to try a restoration on one. Maybe this fall or winter when I am spending more time inside....

Sorry.

Your sticker looks like what should be in my 67 GMC (but ain’t :-( ). Your jack looks like mine but yours has longer…ears, for lack of a better word….
