Check Motor City K5 - some business was offering replacements and I believe it was them.

I found some of those style clips at Napa auto parts in the past. It was at least a couple years ago and the counter guy said they had been discontinued and his supply was down to less than 10 clips. You might get lucky and find a Napa that still has some.
I used the same clip as the door rod on my hatch rods and they seem to work ok. They took a little patience to install though.

I will look them up, thanks. Last time I checked MC K/5, they had some rediculously high prices. But I guess they know they're the only game in town.
