funny how some things last
I picked up this seat the other day. I will wrap it up and put it away for a down the road project.
The owner bought a 1970 C60 dump truck in '88-89, drove it/worked it for 10-11 years and when the transmission died, he bought another truck. This one was parked around 2000 and has been sitting for over 20 years. The seat is near perfect, just dirty. I had a brand new set of sun visors in the box, put them on the shelf and rat ate the end off one of the visors and this thing survived being parked in a field for 20+ years. Scott |

Re: funny how some things last
That is the same pattern of the one that came out of my 67 C-30.

Cover looks awesome, gotta love those "field" trucks.
Are you gonna drive it regularly? Careful with the fabric, I thought my seat in my truck looked perfect--and it was until I started daily driving it. It started cracking and tore in about 3 months. The sun had damaged it even though it looked and felt perfectly pliable. |

Re: funny how some things last
Our family's 1979 GMC Vandura had the same pattern, brings back memories.

Re: funny how some things last
I see original seats on here good enough to keep using. I've been having seats recovered for over 40 years
