Angry Clutch Linkage

ok this driving me nuts, anyone got pics or a diagrahm of what the clutch linkage should look like on a 1970 k20 with a 4 speed tranny. previous owner did some real butcher work on the rod that runs between frame and engine and where it runs back to tranny. or does anone have this linkage for sale? needing to figure out something desperately. heres a pic of what i got for po's butcher work. the green circles are pieces i for sure need. the rest i may be able to get to work. any help or insights appreciated

All those parts are wear items and www.gmpartsdirect.com can get them if you have the part numbers. Sometimes the site is not easy to navigate. www.chevyduty.com www.lmc.com www.yearone.com will all probably be able to hook you up.

I happen the have a Brand new in the bag GM bellcrank/z-bar but I think it also fits my pontiac so not for sale till I confirm it doesn't fit.

Well should go another 34 years before you need it again.

well i got the parts already and thats not gonna work. for one the linkage rubs on the headers and for two the parts lmc sold me dont fit as illustrated in pic. the rod doesnt even come close to reaching transmission , would have to be almost twice as long. less im missing something thats not in their book? i bought everything they had for clutch linkage. also it came with this spring like a foot long i have no idea what its for as mine never had it. on top of all this i just stood up and banged my head on the master cylinder and took big chunk out of my head and if it dont stop bleeding soon may have to get stitches. i just feel like taking a big sledge hammer and pounding truck till nothing left, you know? guess ill never get this thing running. im having a bad day by the way if you cant tell. any ideas? i spent the last of my money on this linkage so guess im screwed now.

update -just got off the phone with lmc, now they tell me rod is for a 2 wheel drive and they dont sell one for 4 wheel drive. when i ordered told them it was 4 wheel drive go figure.

I may have the entire setup, I'm using a NV4500 and a hydraulic clutch now. I'll see if I can find all the parts.

thanks i got it worked out now tho. i put a sleeve in the end piece and re-welded it up and cleaned it up a little and added new hardware and seems alot better now. the bracket on arm that rubbed on header i bent a little to clear which cracked weld on it then i re-welded it. looks like it should work, waiting for some of the painted parts to dry gonna put it on tomorrow. still trying to figure out where this foot long spring goes. does a spring go between frame mount and clutch? if anyone has a pic of their setup would help alot as mine was pretty rigged.

Sorry no pic, but the spring should go between the frame and the clutch fork

yeah i figured it goes between there just dont see any way to attach it as spring is straight on end as pic below shows. its so stiff would be hard to curl end but i guess i could, so not sure how you attach straight end. checked part #s and supposedly its proper spring.

After market spring? One spring fits all? bend to fit application. The spring will be stiff. I believe the spring end mounts on the frame side, through a hole near the shock mount.
