Question Electric Fan Question

I am about to have my engine rebuilt and was planning on using dual electric fans. The guy who is rebuilding my engine asked me if I was going to be using the A/C, which of course I am. He said he wouldn't switch to the electric fans because they won't cool as well as the stock fan would while the A/C is on. Can someone please clear this up for me? Thanks.

Run dual electric fans and wire the second up so that it comes on when the A/C compressor kicks on. Getting two good electric fans will do a better job than the mechanical fan as far as i'm concerned.

Just get two good ones and you'll be fine.

Then why do almost all cars and most trucks have electrics from the factory?

I run dual fans. They turn on with the A/C or preset temp. After an engine drop and rebuild, only one fan will run with the A/C.

As for my other truck, it's getting a dual speed fan. It will run a low speed all the time. Then kick on to highspeed when the preset temp kicks on.
