1968 GMC Window Sticker Reproduction

Hello...

I have not been able to find a place that reproduces a 1968 GMC window sticker, so I am going to try and create it myself, if I can gather all of the pricing information. I am in need of pricing for the following options on my truck, as well as the base price for the truck. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Below is the information and the option codes.

MODEL - CS1570C (I'm assuming this would be the base price of the truck)
A10 - PANORAMIC REAR WINDOW
A11 - TINTED WINDOWS ALL
D32 - LH SHORT ARM MIRROR
D34 - RH SHORT ARM MIRROR
G50 - HEAVY DUTY REAR SPRINGS
M01 - HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH
P13 - SIDE NOUNTED WHEEL CARRIER
QA4 - F775X15X8 T
QA4 - R775X15X8 T
QA4 - S775X15X8 T
U63 - PUSHBUTTON RADIO
V01 - HEAVY DUTY RADIATOR
V38 - PAINTER REAR BUMPER
Z53 - AMP-OIL-TEMP GAUGES
505 - DARK GREEN PAINT
600 - FAWN VINYL TRIM

The truck was built 02/12/1968 at the Freemont, CA plant.

Again, any help with pricing on the base model and the options would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping GMC owners on this forum might have original window stickers or sales paperwork with these options and pricing.

Thank you!

Re: 1968 GMC Window Sticker Reproduction

Those are pretty rare to find. Not aware of any place reproducing GMC's.

Re: 1968 GMC Window Sticker Reproduction

yup... nice looking pickup there.
i dont think they would list the big back window as an option though in 1968 as the panoramic back window was standard,
that would be cool to find OE prices though!!

I thought the same thing about the panoramic window, but it is on the build sheet as an option... although it has an asterisk next to the code.

Fremont, CA.

I'd hate to see you get that wrong on a repop window sticker.

You know what's crazy? The A/C costs more than the Big Block and Automatic Transmission combined. And that's in 1971 dollars.

Just read thro and double check that he uses General Motors truck division not Chevrolet. Even in the small print

$410 for A/C? Now I know why my dad never sprang for A/C in our 71. That was crazy money back then. Thank goodness for vent windows and a rear slider

I see you're a proponent of System - 240. Roll down two windows and cruise at Forty. The Rear Slider must be an upgrade.

Doesn't it seem weird that YE9 would be a "no cost" option? It's the highest trim level.
I also think it's strange that a GMC window sticker wouldn't use GMC's own verbiage -- "Custom Sport Truck" vs "Sierra" for Z84. Could confuse the customer saying "here's your Sierra -- I mean, Cheyenne".

Looks really cool though. I don't think I've ever seen that "arrow" logo before. I like it, but I wonder why it hasn't shown up anywhere else (maybe it has, I have a terrible memory). Also, by '71 GMC was using "The Truck People from General Motors", so I wonder when "Totally Tougher Trucks" started and ended.

The 'arrow' reads '71' if you look at it. 1971 only.
