73 16 inch stainless wiper blade on 1967 C10?

Does anyone know if a 1973 C10 16 inch trico stainless wiper blade will fit a 1967 C10? I've read 16 inch wipers will fit but they were the newer blades and not original stuff. Thank you

That would be good to know. The last blades I bought for my '70 were 10" or so, iirc, and I had to special order them. They don't wipe the whole windshield, either. I'm coming up on needing a new set, and I'd like something that sweeps the windshield better and lasts longer. Tall order, I know. Reconsidering, 16" blades are obviously out of the question.

Original size for '67-'72 is 15".

The ones I have do seem awfully short. I should get the right size next time, after the sun burns these to crispy critters.

Re: 73 16 inch stainless wiper blade on 1967 C10?

I have used 16'' wiper blades. I find the longer blade works better on one side. But I forgot which one. I have run one 16'' and one 15'' with good results.
My '67 K/10 Suburban had those double wipers, with a plastic air-deflectors. Sixteen inch blades on those. It was a Nineties fad. They were in all the FLAPS, in neon colors, then disappeared as quickly. Great in mud if you had a lot of juice in your washer bottle. Made of plastic, they deteriorated fast in Desert Sun.
I have also bought 16 inch blades, when I couldn't find 15s, then cut off the last inch with cable cutters.
