Finding correct fuel pump
Not sure this is the right sub group but it fits my truck the closest
My truck is a 1988 K30 Cab & Chassis with SBC & carburetor. It’s original from the factory with the SPID showing carburetor. The fuel pump is mounted on the block with three lines - in, out & return lines. My problem is I can’t find the correct fuel pump with the rubber line connections in the correct location for my truck - all the parts stores wanna sell me a pump for the tank…. Any help?

Re: Finding correct fuel pump
Ask for an ‘86 year or older pump.

Re: Finding correct fuel pump
Have you tried looking at pictures of fuel pumps for other models and years on rock auto?

Re: Finding correct fuel pump
Your fuel pump has a number stamped on it. Find that number and get a new one.

Re: Finding correct fuel pump
1988 “squarebody” should be a V30, instead of k30. This should allow them the option of the tbi or 4bbl engine.
Just got on Autozone’s website and it does |

Re: Finding correct fuel pump
Just an option, went through fuel pump issues with 1986 K10, installing new GM HO 350. New pump kept leaking down, losing prime after a day. Went through two none USA made, before solution. Purchased an old NOS AC Delco made in USA fuel pump, no more problem. This just my case. However, suggestion for solution came from repair shop. Now have several USA made AC Delco fuel pumps.
