I'm at it again and have a couple questions!
undefinedundefinedAs many of you know i had the red 71 Chevy 4x4 with the marker light gas filler. I had thattruck for 22 years and sold it last year. Ever since i've had the itch to do another project. I had in mine a quad cab but since i decided to just restore another 4x4. This time its gonna be a 3/4 ton. Gonna flat bed it and keep the single wheels in back. Going to go to the frame again too. Staying with a small block this time around too. I'm in need of a couple good doors and inner fenders, new inst.panel w/tach . This cab was not an A/C cab and was wondering of you that used the Vintage Air setup , should i drill for the holes in the usual places ro maybe you might have a reputable company that might shoot me straight on somequestions that i might have and possiably try and buy the setup from them. This is how the truck looks now. I wasn't gonna start on it till winter, but, could not wait that long !

Looks like a flashback to me last fall. I couldn't wait either and was tearing the thing about while it was still on the trailer...lol Keep us informed with pics on progress! Loved your other truck also!
What gears do you have in this one? Locker? I have two 71 K20s if you ever need any pics.... |

The glued rear veiw mirror, and screws in the inside tops of the doors tell me that, that truck is a '72. That looks like a sweet truck. And your last one was a real awesome truck as well! FOr some of the lucky few that got to see it. |

The bed is for sale as of now if anyone needs a good bed and perfect tailgate. It is a 1972 year model and thanks racedevil for your kind words. Missed ya'll at Pigon Forge this year too man. This one won't hardly be as nice of a show truck as the red 71 was but a nice truck that i can use. Ya'll know that the gas tank is the first thing to go on this truck don't ya ?!?! *L*
Later people, got'a get to work on my truck.

I see somebody already asked but I sure could use an 8 foot bed that looks that nice. What kind of money is it going to take to get that bed?
How is the floor?

Tennman, Glad to see you got another project.I was just thinking the other day that I needed to pitch a tent in your yard and use that shop. It's too nice a shop to not have a project in.I'm kinda glad you missed PF this year.Your other truck looks like crap with the tire/wheel combo the current owner put on it,and I wouldn't have wanted you crying in public.Looks like you picked a winner as far as condition. Hope it comes out as nice as the other.
