Dexter Pontiac GMC Address

Hi All...

I am trying to find the address for Dexter Pontiac GMC in San Rafael, CA to complete my factory window sticker for my 1968 stepside. Does anyone happen to have this address? I have searched endlessly for it.

Thanks for your help!

I don't know why I wanted to help you so much, but here's what I found:
https://www.newspapers.com/article/2.../dexters-auto/

If you look at the 3'rd column from the left, at the very bottom, it says:

Quote:
In 1966, he sold the Rambler dealership to American Motors and moved to Dexter Pontiac and GMC Trucks at Fourth and E Streets in San Rafael.
I know that's not an address, but that's what I found. The article mentions he sold the dealership to Bianco motors in 1970 so it was a relatively short lived meander.

Re: Dexter Pontiac GMC Address

535 Francisco Blvd E, San Rafael, CA 94901

educated guess.
And some Google fu appears they sold the gmc franchise in 70 via old newspaper scans.

This is what the Pontiac community says:

Looks like the "4th & E St" is the preferred nomenclature/actual address that was used.

Re: Dexter Pontiac GMC Address

Glad you found the right spot. And glad we don't have to go into there to deliver cars now.
