Re: Gentleman jim grill wiw
Very Cool. I have watched GMC grilles over the years. Without details about condition (it looks very good), I would guess the value around $250. Unless I am mistaken, that is a regular 75-76 grille that has the yellow (ochre) painted areas added. In some ways, I believe it is easier to start with a regular factory grille and paint it to be a Gentleman Jim version than it would be to do the opposite. Whatever the value, the Gentleman Jim immediately takes me back to the 1970's. And that was a happy place. Just for grins a picture of my 1978 GMC Royal Sierra SWB. Another of the dozen old trucks I wish I still had.

I agree with Jimerie. It is a 1975-76 grille indeed. Probably one of the hardest years to find for this truck of any year, maybe besides 1980-82 GMC. (IMO). I would start at $300-350. I have not yet seen a Gentlemen Jim Grille sell before.

I saw that. There have been at least four that sold on ebay in the last 60 days. The other three sold for between $150 and $225, but none of those is an original Gentleman Jim grille.

Re: Gentleman jim grill wiw
I think all the 1973-1980 GMC grilles are hard to find. Until recently there was not a lot of interest in the 1973/1974 grilles. I think the 1977-1980 GMC grilles are hardest to find because they fit four years of trucks there are automatically more people searching for them. I watch for these trucks out on the road, and the vast majority of them have replacement, non factory, grilles. I even hate the phrase "tube grille". "JMO, I don't want to get off a rant here."
