I lit up the white using a flashlight on the rear of the lens. The stickers seem to light up just fine. If you look very closely you can tell that they are stickers because there are variations in how well each number is stuck to the lens. Spending time pushing on the numbers helps. I forgot to check how the green sticker lit up.

I ordered some vinyl in a color called retro mint that appears to be slightly less bright than regular mint. Judging a color based on how it looks on the computer is questionable.
