What is this?

ItÂ’s on a 92 full-size blazer with a V-8 gas motor in it and four-wheel-drive. IÂ’ve had a few of these trucks but none had this on them. Is it something to do with 4 x 4 or could it originally have had a diesel engine? Thank you

Re: What is this?

The pic is sideways. Sorry.

It’s on the driver side inner fender well in front of the brake booster and master cylinder.

Re: What is this?

I figured it out. Only Suburbans and Blazers have this type anti-lock brakes though as far as I can tell.

Re: What is this?

Yes,
That is for the 4WAL (4 Wheel Anti Lock) brakes.

The RWAL (Rear Wheel Anti Lock) brakes have a smaller black plastic module that is mounted vertically by the master cylinder.
