Exclamation is it that noticeable?

Whats the 1st thing you notice on other peoples vehicles? i would think it wold be the paint then the rims. well i swear the 1st place every body looks on my truck is the front emblem w/ the engine designation on it. my goal was to try to make it a sleeper and i figured what the heck they are small emblems no one will notice it says 454. but that is the 1st thing everybody looks at. do they make emblems that say 6-292?

I know for a fact that they make I6 badges because my dads nova had them for a long time, I cant remember if they said 292 on them or not. Theres a lot of people that wouldnt be able to figure out the I6 badge though, most ricers never heard of a straight 6...lol

Nova I-6 badges look similar to this, there is some variation between years but they are similar.

Hmmmmmm........292 emblems

I didn't know that they made such an emblem either. Does anyone have a couple that they'd like to unload?

Thanks,
Jeff

I know where a c20 with 292 emblems is in a junkyard near my home. If you cant find any i'll see about grabbing them for you. I dont think theyre going anywhere any time soon.

You're still going to have a problem when your "292" is shaking the ground when it's sitting there idling

And... I have NEVER seen a 250 emblem. Maybe they do indeed exist, but they have evaded my eye so far.

Any 69-72 P/U with a 292 will have the badges...but they didn't make too many 292's so good luck finding one. It dosen't say 6/292, it is in the general shape on the 8/350 badges, ect, but only says 292, in a little different font. I've only seen 2 of them...if i come across some i will let try and buy them...they would be cool souviners.

that all depends on how much you spend on an exhuast system to quiet it up. ive heard of a system on a lamoborgini that at near full throttle wasnt above a normal speaking level.

I'm gonna have people scratchin their heads with my truck. I'll have a 69 with "400" badges that has a 1972 400ci small block settin in the frame. I thought those would relate quite nicely.
