where are you

Hey, I would love to be a buyer for the complete set up, but where it is, and how to get it. Let me know where you are, and what can we work out.

Have truck, will haul

I do have a truck. How about meeting me in Springfield, Il, and I will give an extra $50.00 for your fuel? I would like to buy the whole set up complete if that is what you are offering, right down to the plug wires etc. Transmission I do not need, bell housing I do. If its esier to leave the tranny thats o.k. What do you think?

When do we meet???

I could meet you almost any time. I will be back from a business trip on Sunday afternoon, and could meet you later in the day. Wednesday afternoon the 18th works for me also. Do you want some pre payment? Also would you throw the stove, air cleaner, and pulleys in??? Thanks I was shocked to see it on the hook already, and I have a nice old 71 beater with 85k original miles I will be coming to pick it up in so according to where you have it the two should tailgate up to one another real nice for a swap. Tim

Mark, looks like it was a nice day out. What exit in Springfield did you meet up at? What type of MPG are you getting in your truck?

Lookin good

Hey Mark. Thanks again Bro!!!!! I rolled into home about 3:00 after a cushy ride in old yeller the whole way. Judging from the pictures I look so good on your tailgate I suppose I should consider another Custom Camper. I was thinking about all the 67-72 trucks I have owned over the years on the trip home, and it hit me that I once had a powder blue w/ white top 69 c-10 that was a 350 auto, and had factory a/c. I only owned it a few weeks, and had forgotten about it. I looked at home, and have pictures of it. The next time we get together I will bring the albums for you to enjoy. Whats this about anti freeze? Just a loose hose I hope. I checked the mileage on yeller on the way home. I went 127 miles from the speedway next to where we did the swap to home, and I filled her with just under 9 gallons. About 14 mpg @ 60mph. Not too bad. The 3:07 axle deserves the thanks. The motor is on the stand, and I will start on it soon. Thanks again for the good deal, and good conversation. Remember the cab offer stands if you can use it. Tim
