Half ton 4x4 hubcap conversion: "new service"

Converting 1/2T hubcaps to open 4x4 style. You asked, so here they are. This is a new service. $150 per pair on your caps. (includes return S/H).
Centers are cut with really crisp, clean edges and then smoothed for nice feel and appearance. Fits over the hubs with good clearance. NOTE: The OE inside 1/16" stepped lip is NOT replicated. You can't see it anyway and this reduces the cost.

PayPal is preferred: Safer. Better S/H. Good tracking.

Remember to "Clean" your caps, before sending. I can't cut through dirt and grease. Thanks, Frank

Re: Half ton 4x4 hubcap conversion: "new service"

Hi Frank!
I’m going to take you up on this. Thank you for offering this service. I was envious of the service you provided for the larger caps and am excited you’re offering it for the half ton.

Please send me your shipping information and I’ll get my caps boxed up. I think I’ll send you two sets.

Thank you.

You should cross post this in the squarebody section as early squares use the same caps. Awesome service you are offering for a reasonable price

Re: Half ton 4x4 hubcap conversion: "new service"

This is a pretty cool service. I did mine with a razor knife. just kept scoring it on the inside of the cap, a little deeper every time, until I finally cut through.
It was a pain in the butt and took a long time to accomplish, used a lot of blades, cuz the tips kept chipping off. It came out pretty good, but not nearly as clean as the work you're doing.
I would have rather just paid you to do it.
