Rear sway bar install

Got my rear sway bar installed today. It is a POL RSBK6372. I had questions about where to mount it, even after reading the directions multiple times. I mounted it as close to the rear as I could and still able to reach frame with mounting tabs. It looks pretty good, and I think it will work well.
Front bar is next.

I put a Hellwig Rear Bar on my 72 a couple years ago. I've had the truck long enough that could feell adiference when taking corners/curves spiritedly. Do you have a front bar on the truck already?

That's looking good! After putting on a much taller camper and using the mushy sidewall Firestone Transforce tires, I get oversteer. Didn't have that with the previous tires, which were Michelins. I get oversteer even when I run 10 PSI greater pressure in the rear tires.

The Hellwig looks like a nice setup.
My truck didn’t have a sway bar. I bought a kit from POL that had front and rear sway bars. I hope to get the front installed tomorrow.
I plan to use it as a fair weather daily. Improved handling will be a plus. I will occasionally pull a 5-6k open trailer and I’m hoping the sway bars will provide stability when towing.

I had the same POL RSBK6372 sway bar on my truck. Under power, when the tires lost traction, my truck would go side to side uncontrollably.
One had to get off the throttle quickly our I may have rolled the truck. It quit when I removed the bar.

Let us know how yours work out please. Wondering if it something was amiss on just my truck. Although I did find another C10 owner with the same issue.
Other type bars work, specifically those that attach to the differential like stock truck sway-bars. Without further information I consider this one dangerous.

In general you control sway with springs and balance under/oversteer with a sway bar. Contrary to what most beleive, more bar reduces grip. So adding a rear bar on a balanced steering vehicle will induce oversteer as the back now wants to slip and added to the front will cause understeer as the front plows into the corner. So if the rear bar is inducing oversteer, reduce the diameter of the rear bar or increase the front diameter and steering balance will return.

Other type bars work, specifically those that attach to the differential like stock truck sway-bars. Without further information I consider this one dangerous.

I’ll let you know if I have any issues, but to be honest I don’t see me losing traction with this. I’m not a canyon carver. Might make a few more runs at the dragstrip in the future. I really want to add more stability when I’m using it to tow.

My truck had the factory front sway bar when I bought it and I believe they are 7/8ths of an inch. I sourced a factory 1 ton 1 1/4 inch front bar from a scrap 73/87 GMC 3500 and installed it 6/7 years ago with Energy Suspension Poly Bushing. I added the Rear Hellwing 1 1/18th rear bar in 2 years ago and truck was at stock height then and I could feel the difference on tight turns after the rear bar was installed. Then I lowered the truck with a 2 1/2 inch dropped spindle and 3 inch rear spring with shock relocators and adjustable panhard bar. Also did complete front end rebuild with the original springs up front. The shocks are nothing fancy or exotic just Monroe OE Spectrums that I put on the truck around 2015/16 not long after I got it. Tires are 255/60 17 on 17 by 8 rims. My point with all this info is that my truck handles and corners superbly and going onto on ramps at a good clip it stays flat with no lean or feeling of losing it. I think you will love your new front /rear sway bars. Pic is my truck as it sits now with above mentions installed.
